I recently found myself with some extra time to try a wire tutorial that I had purchased but never used. It is taught and designed by Iza Malczyk and was both fun and challenging. You can see the tutorial piece here:
What that tutorial did for me, besides teaching me something new, was open up a huge realm of possibilities. This week I found myself with an unheard-of amount of spare time, so I decided to take the newly acquired wire techniques and make my own designs. The fun and challenging part is that they are, for the most part, done in the moment. They are formed in a way that best showcases the stone's shape and cut and, for now, are one-of-a-kind. Even a duplicate gemstone center is likely to have variations in another pendant.
Below are preview photos for the rainbow moonstone, green hydro quartz, and sapphire necklaces. They will be part of my coming Yule/Winter collection! Details to come!
