Our House produces two fundraising events each
year. First, we invite you to enjoy our charitable dinner series,
Dinner at My House for Our House. Second, please plan to
attend our annual auction, For Love & Money.
Dinner at My House for Our House
What happens when dedicated Our House supporters throw dinner parties
in their homes? It’s Dinner at My House for Our House,
a charitable dinner series running from September through March.
Some of the parties are public, where Our House sells tickets –
others are private, where the host invites the guests. All told,
around 75 dinners occur in a range of themes, sizes and prices –
from four guests to 30 or more. A few dinners even occur at restaurants.
Additionally, Our House enjoys the support of chefs from local restaurants
that volunteer to cook at some of the dinner parties. Our Celebrity
Chefs include Caprial and John Pence of Caprial and John’s
Kitchen and Bistro, Greg Higgins of Higgins Restaurant and Bar,
and Cory Schreiber of Wildwood Restaurant. Click here

For Love & Money
A highlight of the season for many, For Love & Money,
is Our House of Portland’s largest single fundraising event.
A diligent crew of volunteers works year-round to procure exciting
and beautiful auction items. The items range from fine furniture
to exotic travel, massage services and clever pieces of art. Additionally,
the auction features an elegant sit-down dinner and then caps the
evening with lively entertainment. Click here for
